My Sunday Photo – September 30th, 2018.

A bit random this week but I’ve been loving the autumnal light and couldn’t resist having a bit of a play with the leaves and things Freya and I have collected on our walks to and from school.

To me it seems like the leaves have started changing colour earlier this year, not that I’m complaining.

We are going to plant the acorn and see if it grows.

Hope you’ve had a good week. Don’t forget to click on the camera below to see what other people have submitted for My Sunday Photo.

We’ve had some stunning sunrises in Norwich this week. This was yesterday’s. It’s quite often been the best part of the day as the sky has then turned and stayed a dull grey. What a way to wake up though!

Wishing you a lovely week ahead.

Apologies if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook and have already seen this photo but I couldn’t resist posting it here too so I have a record of it.

This is Freya and her “magic ring”. Apparently if you make a wish on it at sunrise it comes true. Her wish was for pizza for tea (if only they were all that easy). I got her a little pizza but I wasn’t sure if she would be able to eat it after receiving a call from the school to say she had face planted on concrete and had a fat lip and a grazed chin. Fortunately her need for pizza was strong (she takes after her dad) and despite her sore mouth she managed to eat it. In fact, whereas I would have milked the injury for all its worth, she hasn’t made a bit of fuss (even insisting on going back to school the next day).

Also, if you have an interest in writing or reading, please pop back tomorrow when I have a fabulous Behind The Book interview with another of my favourite authors, Carla Burgess. She even gives us a peek at her first ever book (it’s adorable, you won’t want to miss it).

Wishing you a great week.
