I’ve been on blossom watch for weeks now, heading out with my camera and phone every so often and snapping various flora as they come into bloom.

The first time I went by St Peter Mancroft Church in the heart of Norwich, which I have taken photos of many times before, I thought I had missed my chance to see the lovely pink blossom at its best this year.
Little did I know, I was just too soon. Imagine my surprise when I walked by yesterday and it looked like this:

A happy day indeed – especially in the rain. I thought I’d share some other shots of Norwich in bloom too. It does seem to have rained every time I’ve been out with my camera. I hope I’m not a bad omen!

I’m looking forward to the bluebells, wisteria and hydrangea to come. Is the blossom out where you are?
The blossom is on its way here in Edinburgh, probably going to be at its best over the next week. Love your photos!

Thank you. We’re hoping to come to Edinburgh in the summer. No blossom then though!
