Book reviews by Freya featuring: The Squirrels Who Squabbled and Once Upon A Wild Wood.

Freya was sat next to me as I was writing a book review the other night and asked what I was up to. When I explained, she wanted to review some of her favourite books so, after we’d designed the header (she’s a Procreate wizard), she set to work.

We think both the books are probably suitable for children aged 3-7.

The Squirrels Who Squabbled is a rhyming book by Rachel Bright and Jim Field.

I love this funny, colourful book. Bruce and Cyril get up to a lot of cheeky things.

The chase for the last nuts is exhilarating and the ending made me happy.

Once Upon a Wild Wood by Chris Riddell is an exciting adventure which features some of my favourite story characters.

My grandma bought me the hardback version of this book. It features some beautiful illustrations, which I love looking at.

This adventure is easy to read and a real page turner.
