After a busy few weeks, we all decided Sunday was the day for some fresh air. The only question was where should we go in our beautiful county?
We picked somewhere that has something for every one, Pensthorpe Natural Park. It has soft play (and an amazing outdoor adventure area) for Freya, photo ops for me and nice food for Mark (although my vegan chocolate and caramel cake was insanely good).
This was a bit like my face when we came home just as the sun was starting to set.
Freya, on the other hand, looked like this, which was also a sign of a good day.
Hands up if you didn’t bring any spare trousers? Thank goodness for the picnic blanket.
I also had fun watching the ducks (thank you to Mark for going in soft play with Freya so I could wander). It was clearly bath day.
I haven’t taken any photos with my big camera since New Year’s Day so I was definitely feeling a bit rusty. This was just what we all needed.
Check out this old post to see how different Pensthorpe looks in summer and look how tiny Freya was here.
Hope you have had a happy and healthy start to 2020.
