I have resisted and resisted. For weeks. Then I popped into our local shop to get a loaf of bread and bam…peonies in the reduced bucket. Will power? Gone.
Sadly they have to live on the balcony because of Mark’s horrible hay fever, which is part of the reason why I haven’t bought them before. Despite that, I have been enjoying them and *might* occasionally sneak them into the living room while he’s at work. Shhhhh.
My camera can’t get enough photos of them. They just seem to get better and better.
So, we’ve had cherry blossom, wisteria, bluebells and now peonies. What comes next?
They look beautiful! I’m amazed that you’ve found so many different ways to photograph them. At first, when I saw Freya in the dress, I thought she was a bridesmaid.

Roses. Roses are flowering at the moment. Bonus points if you can photograph a dog rose! Love the peonies. I have heard a lot about peonies but wouldn’t have recognised one until I read your blog post. Great way to combine it with the dress also.

Of course! How could I forget roses!

Gorgeous pictures. Is that your daughter in the pictures? I sympathize with your husband since I have a lot of flower related allergies but I love them from afar, lol.

Yes, that’s Freya. She’s a good sport, although we think she might have inherited his hay fever so I probably won’t be photographing her with flowers again!
