“If I stayed home from school today, we could go and look for bluebells.”
Nice try, Freya. Nice try. I can’t say I wasn’t tempted so she definitely knows how to push my buttons. If she’s like this at five, goodness knows what she’ll be like as a teenager.
Anyway, I stayed strong and sent her to school on Friday but she did give me an idea, so I played hooky and went in search of bluebells at Strumpshaw Fen. Shhh, don’t tell her.
It wasn’t the same without her (it was peaceful for one) but it was an enjoyable hour nonetheless. Maybe we can go back at some point as they are not all out yet.
Hope you have had a good week.
Very nice try, Freya! Gorgeous photos. I’ve never been to look for bluebells to photograph. We have a handful in our garden, but don’t actually know where I can find a lot!
