Sun, sea and sand – what more could you want on holiday (especially in the UK in April)?
We’re just back from a lovely week in Sheringham on the north Norfolk coast (more posts to follow on that subject) and I couldn’t resist sharing a couple of photos from playtime on the beach. It is definitely Freya’s happy place.
We were staying in a bungalow just a couple of minutes away so it was easy to pop down in the evening. What was especially nice is that a lot of the day visitors had already left so the beach was a lot less busy.
There were a couple of days where it was too cold and windy to mess about (although we did spot a man swimming in the sea!?) but otherwise it has been perfect (for me anyway as I don’t it too hot).
It was one of those holidays where I didn’t really want to come home (although Mark couldn’t come with us so it was nice to see him again).
Hope you’ve all had a great week.
Love the shot with the jump (caught air) and the beach looks wonderful – maybe the swimmer had a wet suit on

Thank you! He didn’t, he was just in shorts. He looked like he was having fun though (we made she he came out again, just in case).

My kids love the beach especially Blackpool.

The beach is my happy place, too. I’m with Freya. Looks like a grand time and, to me, a cold day at the beach still beats a warmer day anywhere else!
