My Weekend Photo – Featuring Sheringham Beach.

IMG_7446Sun, sea and sand – what more could you want on holiday (especially in the UK in April)?

We’re just back from a lovely week in Sheringham on the north Norfolk coast (more posts to follow on that subject) and I couldn’t resist sharing a couple of photos from playtime on the beach. It is definitely Freya’s happy place.

We were staying in a bungalow just a couple of minutes away so it was easy to pop down in the evening. What was especially nice is that a lot of the day visitors had already left so the beach was a lot less busy.

There were a couple of days where it was too cold and windy to mess about (although we did spot a man swimming in the sea!?) but otherwise it has been perfect (for me anyway as I don’t it too hot).

It was one of those holidays where I didn’t really want to come home (although Mark couldn’t come with us so it was nice to see him again).

Hope you’ve all had a great week.

  1. The beach is my happy place, too. I’m with Freya. Looks like a grand time and, to me, a cold day at the beach still beats a warmer day anywhere else!
