My Sunday Photo – June 10th, 2018.

I’m not here. Well, I am. Sort of. Half here, anyway. It’s my birthday today and we are out in the wilds with limited internet so please forgive me if I don’t respond to your comments until later.

I’m in two minds about this photo. Part of me likes the way that Norwich Cathedral is the focus and that Freya is in shadow but the other part of me thinks it’s neither one thing or the other. She’s not a full silhouette, she’s not full colour, so why is she there? Maybe it’s just a bad photo? I have others where she is darker and lighter but I like her hands on this one. What do you think?

Also, please pop back tomorrow to read my latest Behind The Book post with the fantastic debut author Lex Coulton (I’ll also post a review of her book, Falling Short, on Thursday).

      1. It is good to be back – I have another post in the offing. Though I now want to read the book ‘Falling Short’ thanks to your review, it sounds great! May put writing on the back burner again!

  2. Hi Tara, on first look I did think the same, but the photo works. I do like the way the cathedral and Freya are both main figures in the photo, depending on how you want to look at it. If it weren’t for the glimpses of colour she could be a statue on the wall.

  3. Happy Birthday. Hope you’re having a lovely day today. I think the contrast of light and shadows is lovely and you’ve captured a natural shot there really well!
