According to the seal count on Thursday there were about 1,700 adults and 1,420 pups on the beach at Horsey – and there were certainly more than I have ever seen when we visited yesterday.
As it’s a peak time the beach was roped off, which I was pleased about because I remember getting cross at those getting too close last time we visited (even trying to take selfies with them).
There was plenty to see from up on the dunes but, of course, what we were really there for was the pups in all their cuddly-looking glory.
I think I’ve take better pics on previous trips but it was lovely to see them anyway. You can see my previous seal posts here and here.

Oh I love seals!
What great photos, we have seals here but I haven’t got round to going out with my camera to go and see if I could capture some snaps.
This has given me some inspiration to get out and do it!

I’m with you – being irritated by folks pestering animlas for selfies. I understand though, they are so cute and I do love animals.

That really is a huge amount of seals. Drop lovely to know that the UK still has so much wildlife and glad to hear that they were protected. Also how cute is that seal pup!

Hi Tara, how lovely to be able to see seals doing what seals do in the wild. And there are so many too! It is good that there are barriers up as some people have no idea how to respect nature.

I’m glad to hear the beach was roped off to stop people getting too close. How lovely to see so many seals and those pups are just adorable 🙂
