After a week of illness, we all felt the need for a little fresh air and adventure yesterday – and after getting various chores done we set off for Happisburgh Lighthouse.
Built in 1790, Happisburgh (pronounced hazebra) is the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain. There’s a chance to climb the 112 steps to the lantern at events and tours run during the year.
Along with the lighthouse there is a beach to explore, a lovely cliff top walk and a fabulous playground too.
Just what the doctor ordered.
I hope you’ve all had a healthy week. To see what other people have submitted for My Sunday Photo, please click on the camera below.
Also, please pop back tomorrow because my latest Behind The Book interview is with the fabulous Isabella Davidson, who writes the popular blog Notting Hill Yummy Mummy and has now published her first book, Beta Mum: Adventures In Alpha Land.
Beautiful photos! Lighthouses make such good subject matter. Hope you are all feeling better now.

Great pictures of Happisburgh. There were swings over looking the lighthouse was back in the 70s!

Hope you have fully recovered we have been suffering from colds too but nothing too bad! I love the first, featured shot of the lighthouse, such a moody sky!
