We had yet another lovely day out at Pensthorpe Natural Park yesterday, aided by blue sky and sunshine – just what we all needed.
Along with Mark and Freya, my running buddy (pictured) came along too. It was her first visit and she really loved it. There are many great spots to just stop and sit for a while (I’ve shared more pics and a video on Instagram, if you’re interested).

That looks so peaceful! It’s lovely that your running buddy was able to go along too.

Yes, lovely to get time for a proper catch up rather than just a run. I hope you’ve had a good weekend. Happy Mother’s Day 🙂

It was lovely to just sit and chat for a while. I’m thinking of taking myself there if I get a free day and just enjoy the peace.

Are you taking these photos with your phone or a camera? If it’s a phone, I may have to upgrade. Really crisp and captures moments so well. Of course, your awesome eye helps a lot. 🙂

It’s a mixture of phone (iPhone 6) and camera (Canon 1100d). To be honest the phone is sometimes better than the big camera (especially in strange light) and it’s easier to transport/use when you need to keep an eye on a three-year-old. I’m constantly amazed by the quality of photos it takes. Hope you’re having a good weekend.

Aww thank you, that’s very kind. I’ve been nominated for this before (actually in April 2015, according to the archives). Am I allowed to have it twice?

I’m yet to visit Pensthorpe but judging by your photo, it looks lovely and peaceful there. I’m loving the goose photo, we have geese and they are so clumsy, I almost find it unbelievable that they can fly x

And they are so noisy too, it’s unbelievable. I hope you get to visit soon 🙂
