We made a return visit to Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary yesterday. It’s a great place but we also really like the staff, who are not only really friendly (and great with children) but very knowledgeable.
Speaking of knowledge, I had a go at taking a photo of the (not so) supermoon last Sunday/Monday (my attempt is on Instagram, if you’re interested) and had to fiddle with my camera to get the settings right (as it turned out it was mostly cloudy).
Since then I’ve been playing around some more. I’ve never had much success taking photos in an aquarium before but enjoyed snapping a few yesterday. I was desperate to get the jellyfish but I still need to work on that.

Wishing you a lovely week.

Very good photo of the snake! The ray looks like he’s smiling – he looks like a character straight out of Finding Nemo/ Dory – and you’ve even got a photo of Nemo 🙂

Thanks, Sarah. You can see his teeth up close. I didn’t even know they had teeth! I love Nemo 🙂

Great photos, the Ray one is incredible. Fiddling with the photo settings sounds fun, would make a good ‘how to’ post!

Hmm I’m not sure it would be very informative, I just twiddled with the shutter speed and kept taking it until I got a clearer photo 🙂

I really like the last picture. The pink colour is so vibrant. I always struggle with pictures through the glass at aquariums so you’ve done really well x

Thank you. I don’t think I’m quite there yet but they are better than anything I have managed before 🙂

Sorry! I did think before I posted it, I hope no one is worried by snakes. Freya actually touched one yesterday.

I absolutely love these pictures Tara. It’s so hard to get a decent picture in an aquarium so you did really well! I love the Cowfish pout! #MySundayPhoto

Hi Tara, what lovely photos and not at all spoiled by the glass. My favourite has to be the solemn face of the ray (it almost looks like a barrister, don’t you think?)…. Popping over to check out your moon.
