My Sunday Photo – Week 30.

Each month of Freya’s first year I took a photo of her on the 26th (or thereabouts) holding a card with her age on, which I know is a popular thing to do. I was very relieved to get to 12-months because it was increasingly difficult to get her to hold (and not eat) the cards. In fact, the last one I had to put it in her wooden trolley and get her to push it along.

IMG_7114Anyway, she will be two (I know!) at the end of next month and I wanted to commemorate it in pictures. I turned to my good friend Pinterest for some inspiration and came up with a lovely photo shoot idea. While that makes it sound very glamorous I actually took her to our local park with some dresses and T, W and O made out of cardboard and wrapped (badly) in pretty paper and chased her around with the camera.

I’m really pleased with the way they came out when I put them all together but this week’s #MySundayPhoto is an outtake from when she was just wandering about. I really liked her pretty dress against the security shutters (I coloured the floor in grey using Fotor too). It’s rare for me to print photos because I take so many but I’ve got this one done on canvas for the living room wall.

  11. Congratulations! She is adorable. I would’ve printed this photo too! I love the whole shot, it really caught my eye. Great job.
