My Sunday Photo – week 24

waternorfolk

The sea is everything. It covers seven tenths of the terrestrial globe. Its breath is pure and healthy. It is an immense desert, where man is never lonely, for he feels life stirring on all sides. Jules Verne (1828 -1905).

I am drawn to trying to photograph water, even though I find it very hard to capture the movement. I think the one above that I’ve chosen for #MySundayPhoto looks like paint being splattered and, if you squint, the one directly below looks like little dancers or ice skaters  jumping and doing lifts.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun while we were on holiday snapping the waves. It was a very windy day and quite rough which was fine with me – although I wish I had remembered to pack a coat!

A more peaceful one to end with.

    1. I’m glad it’s not just me 🙂 Also, we bought those books you recommended in a previous post. Love the giant one, a lovely lesson 🙂

  1. I did think it was milk when I first looked! 🙂 I love these shots and am also a big fan of ‘water’ photography and yep, it’s not easy. I love that misty/smoky effect some people get, looks amazing!
