My Sunday Photo – week 12

Landscape
One of the many things I love about living in Norwich is that you don’t have to go far to find yourself in the countryside. I had a job (in the middle of a field) on the outskirts of the city on Friday and I snapped this on the way back to the car.

Ignoring the power lines and digger, it reminded me of a Constable painting (although he was obviously famous for his Suffolk landscapes).

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you might have already seen this but I couldn’t resist using it for this week’s #MySundayPhoto.

  1. I’ve got a mega walk coming up later this year which takes me through Constable country – really looking forward to views like this.
We really do live in a lovely part of the world don’t we! ☺️

    1. We really do, I often think how lucky I am – although I don’t think I make enough of it. I did a feature at Flatford Mill, where Constable painted some of his most famous pictures, last year and it was ridiculously beautiful. I can’t believe I had never been there before. Your mega walk sounds like fun. Look forward to hearing more.

  2. What a great photos love the colours, and I also like the way that the power lines cut and separate the sky from the ground =)

  3. Funnily enough I really like the power lines in this shot, and I usually hate them. They create this great leading line through the shot that makes you feel the sweep of the land, I don’t think it would be the same without them.
