
Five minutes after I took the first shot the sky was completely normal again, as if it had never been on fire. I’m sure there must be a lesson to be learned here, some sort of carpe diem, but I’m too tired from being up pre-dawn to find it 🙂 Can you help me out? What’s message should I take from the two photos and the story behind them?

I’d say the lesson to learn is ~ looking, sometimes, doesn’t mean seeing. And that, equally, goes for the things that change slowly over time and the ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ ones 🙂
