One of the many perks of writing for a living is occasionally getting to interview one of your heroes. For the latest edition of Suffolk Magazine I was lucky enough to talk to Nik Kershaw, who I have been a fan of since I was teeny tiny – not least because he used to live round the corner. I am always a little worried when interviewing someone I admire just in case they say or do something which crushes my long held good opinion of them. In Nik’s case I didn’t have to worry as he was lovely. I could have written twice as much as I did – although my editor would probably not have been pleased.
