Here is a link to my first column in the Eastern Daily Press since I became a mum. Naturally, it is about becoming a mum:
I have been overwhelmed by the response it has received but also saddened that so many mums and dads seem to have suffered in silence simply because they didn’t feel it was something they should or could talk about. It’s hard to know how to change that. I know when I have been to baby massage followed by baby yoga at my local Surestart (highly recommended) that there is always time for a chat at the end but people seem loathe to say anything negative, especially when it’s to a group of people you hardly know. The issue has set me thinking though.
